   In this buying and selling of Newtons and assiciated bits and pieces there have been people who have described bad experiences with Fredi, GEM and just about every other seller of used Newtons. Many people have described good experiences with these same vendors.
   I'm sure a lot of the bad experiences have to do with the buyer not knowing the product, not reading or understanding the description, or an unclear description of the goods.
   I've bought a number of items from eBay vendors and received exactly what they promised. When I have been unclear about what was being offered, a simple question via email has generally resolved the problem. In a number of cases this clarification prompted me not to buy.
   eBay is operated on a 'buyer beware' premise so buyers should feel free to ask questions and get the terms and descriptions clarified before committing to a purchase. If the answers (or attitude) don't satisfy you ... go elsewhere.
