You can't tell which adapter works with my current driver because I'm
the only one who uses it. Indeed, the driver has been entirely
refactored. And it's not available for public yet because I have some
timing problems with my CF card.
I'm using a 15 MB "flash ata high speed card, Nikon EC-15" and a 16
MB FlashCard unbranded CF card (with a regular Type I adapter).

BTW, I have much more time to work on that project now. My internship
at INRIA is over since yesterday.

The release process will go through the following steps (with estimated date:)
* beta 14 (before wednesday I hope)
  This is the release I'll use on my Newton server.
  Currently, I have two bugs to fix before reaching that stage (the CF
compatibility bug and a data corruption bug).
* RC1 (10-14 days after beta 14)
  This will be the first full version available to the public (thrill
seekers only). What is lacking from beta 14 is mainly the
documentation. Your feedback on beta 14 will be very important as
well.
This is when ATA Support could be considered useful.
* 1.0 (will happen one week after last problem with RC1 will be
reported and fixed). It won't include any new feature compared to RC1.
This is when ATA Support could be considered reliable.
* 1.1: will bring backups and the asynchronous driver.
This is when ATA Support will be considered much better than linear
cards (I mean to beat SRAM results with the asynchronous driver).
This might take a month or two. There might be a 1.0.x featuring
backups.
* 1.2: FAT support.
