Those of you having a problem connected your Newton to your Mac over
AppleTalk in OS X.2- A solution may be at hand. Apple released 10.2.1
today (available in Software Update), and one of the listed features is
"Addresses a situation in which AppleTalk may not be available in the
Classic environment after waking from sleep." This could also explain
why not everyone experienced the problem; some of us never put our Macs
to sleep.
