I had a couple of those Portable batteries rebuilt by the Batteries Plus
chain store at the local mall for about CA$90 each, which is only around
US$60. (I think there's a similar chain in the U.S. with an almost identical
name - is it Battery Plus?) Never thought of them as an option for Newton
or eMate batteries, but I wouldn't be surprised if they can do it.
