you are completely right. I had problems myself with an old digicam
and checked the keyspan website
(http://www.keyspan.com/products/usb/usa28x/downloads/). They say:
> * IMPORTANT INFORMATION for Mac OS X users: If you are running Mac OS
> X and want to use your Keyspan serial adapter in 'Classic', do NOT
> install the Mac OS X software.
So if you don't need the keyspan adapter in MacOS X (I guess nearly
nobody does) install only the classic driver.
