Thanks for the reply! Yes, an InPath MW-400. Cool, don't have FilePad
yet... many list folks suggest Ebase as a database, so I may try that
one too. I also saw the Hops-Barcode program on UNNA that was built
especially for this wand according to Mr. Wayman - just have to hack it
to get more functionality out of it, unless you were originally planning
to use it for your hops gardening!

I wanted to use it with FilePad which has explicit support for bar code
readers in its text fields and I have got as far as configuring the wand
to
cause FilePad to make a sound when a bar code is swiped but no data is
returned into the field....
