The particular one with dual RJ 45 ports definitely does NOT require
any additional drivers when connected to a Mac with an AAUI port
I have 6 such mac's, 6 etherwaves and 0 additional drivers from
Farallon or anyone else for such a thing

The AAUI adapter is just a box that connects a certain physical media
type, in this case twisted pair with an RJ 45 connector, to an AAUI
port on the back of the Mac
The fact that it ALSO acts like a 2 port hub (which is pretty simple)
is jut a bonus for anyone using one as it allows you to daisy chain
Macs with ethernet like you used to do with PhoneNet connectors and 4
conductor phone wire
