Karl, there is an extension called PrintMonth (try www.hyprmynd.com) which enhances the printing abilities of the built-in Dates app to print a month calendar in the conventional 5x7 grid format. That might get you off the hook in the short term.
I have had similar difficulties synching with
Claris Organizer. It works for awhile and then abruptly stops working. I am very sad about this since the user interface of CO is so much better than any other desktop PIM. And searches are so fast! Ah well...
But I do not have the same difficulties loading packages. Sounds like possible data corruption.
