Bondi iMacs never came with a serial port. They had USB only. You need a
USB-->serial adapter with the appropriate drivers. If you do have a
serial port, this was a third party add on and drivers are needed here as
well. This will cause the serial option to be available in NCU's prefs.
Keyspan seems to be a recommended choice.
