As far as connectivity to my Newton and Powerbook Pismo, my Nokia 6210 is
fantastic. There are newer, similar models that do even better, from what I
understand.

Downside: the idiotic internal antenna gives me the worst reception of any
cell phone I've ever used. In fact, at the moment, I'm seriously considering
getting another phone. First, however, I want to try to see if there is some
kind of stump antenna I can plug into the jack on the back... So, if I were
to recommend anything, I think you should look at recent Nokia phones. You
can check their web site, and see which ones offer IR.
