I believe that I have tracked the problem to one particular program called
"smartButtons" by K2 Software. Looks I have a corruption. SBM utilities
hangs on this extension when I try to look at it or delete it under the
programs function. Any idea how I can get rid of it short of doing an erase
and restore?
