Sounds like you have the cable with the built-in adapter to the Newtons
proprietary interface connection on the top of the Newton. What you need to
use the keyboard is something called a "dongle." You can buy them on eBay
and from some of the online stores. Check www.jksalesinc.com. Alternatively,
ask around on this message list. The dongle is a little rectangular piece
of molded plastic that has the Newton interface connector on one end and the
Apple serial connector on the other end (like the one on your 120. The
dongle will solve your problem. You can read more about "dongles" by
checking the archive on www.newtontalk.net and find the searchable archive
on that site. You can also, like most things about Newton, probably find
some info on the all-important FAQ.
