They sell their NiMh ap2000 AA form factor rechargable with button top
for only $3.50 ea. I bought 16 and use them to replace batteries used in
remotes, game boys , walkmen, and everyday flashlights.
They also sell NiMh batteries in D-cells(9000 mahr). mahr=milliamp
FYI- Alkalines still contain more power (AA-2450-2650 mahr, D-cell 13000),
But the latest NiMh batteries have about 80% of alkalines capacity, but can
be recharged several hundred times. Big $ savings.
