yes, i have read the faq and archives, but quite frankly i havent a
bloody clue.
what are the various methods of connecting a newton (2100) to the
internet while not on a landline or a lan?
gprs cards i have been told work, but other than someone saying that
they do in a list of stuff the newton can do along with airport ect. i
can find no evidence of anyone actually doing it.
gms i think works, but im not sure about. can i use a pc card and a
nokia 3310 (after a brief serch of belfast it was the only one i could
get a difinitve answer on whether it has gms)
eg will a Motorola Cellect 1plus gsm card and a 3310 work (particularly
in the uk) so i can just slot in the card connect it to the phone and
hit 'dial'?
i really dont care what speed i can get on the internet at, but as long
as i can surf on the bus with a cheap modem off ebay and a modern
(small and preferaly cheap, but id be willing to spend money on it if
it is a reasonable phone)phone.
