This is a diverse, fun and interesting community to say the least.
And with Victor's excelent threading of the messages, it is so easy to
sort, select, and then hit the DELETE key to remove a complete thread of
10, 50 or 100 messages if you are not interested.
For those who do not want to receive the messages, or the digest, and
would prefer a more of a forum like environment can do the following:
Set your ID to VACATION, and then go to the archive and review the
messages there. Even when your ID is set on VACATION, you can still post
to the list.
