Well, neither am I for that matter. Maybe the proper question would be
"Can we MAKE a 2.0 ROM chip for a 120?" Would it be more cost-effective
to just get a 2100 or U2K?

Hmmm, I'm not a hardware engineer, but doesn't ROM stands for "Read Only
Memory"? Unless it's a kind of EPROM, you cannot change the content of
regular ROM, which the NOS 2.0 chip is.
