I don't think the AlphaSmart products are trying to do too much more
than provide basic word processing functions.
I can't help but find the defensive reactions to other PDA platforms I
see here kind of amusing. Not that they don't have their own faults
(some more than others, and some are way out in left field), but are
competing platforms *that* much of a threat to our personal computing
ideology?
