Depending on what version of Windows he's using, he may want to
try this:
- Right click on a Newton pkg file
- Choose "Open With..."
- Pick the program used to install packages (might need to Browse)
- Check the box that says "always use this program to open...etc."
- Click "ok"
Usually that will work.
