FYI - This is not a PocketPC device.
This is WinCE .NET 4.1.
PPC does not support this form factor.
Note - The biggest issue with .NET is the lack of application software. =
This device is targeted at verticals.

Subject: Re: [NTLK] Newton II: A gentler approach
I have never heard of SDL and Lua before your post. They look =
interesting.
While your approach is new and original in its own right, I think the =
way
Newton looks cannot be separated from what lies beneath. Use of SDL may =
make
emulation NOS look easy, but the problem of matching the look and
native(whatever platform you used to do this) application remains. I =
think
the latter will be a bigger job maybe.
This is not to discourage your effort and idea - I too feel the need to
succeed NewtonOS platform in newer hardwares. We all do. Being an =
engineer
myself, I personally think Paul's emulator plan looks promising. But I'd
like to see other approaches.
On a slightly (un)releated note, as I don't rememner seeing this =
information
on the list, I'll introduce a interesting hardware. This is the closest
handheld to Newton form-factor-wise. It's a PocketPC from Samsung.
