I thought that using Pocket Money and its built-in currency conversion
facility would be a great way to track my spending in Krakow, but it
was too much work, and I never was satisfied with the results. Besides,
I go through all that effort to enter what, after conversion is a $2 or
$3 purchase. It felt like more than it was worth. In the end, I just
budgeted blocks of cash at withdrawal, and bypassed the Newton. While
traveling in the States, however, I use PM _heavily_ and couldn't live
without it.
Using my Newton for todos doesn't seem to work too well anymore either.
It is too much effort. If something is that important, I create an
appointment. :-)
Other than the two above, everything I've used the Newton for has been
a success! :-)
