I've come into this discussion late but don't believe what you see in the
Internet Connect application. Get MacStumbler <http://www.macstumbler.com>
instead. It'll provide a more accurate picture of the sort of signal you're
receiving on your TiPB. There are times when Internet Connect has given me
four bars and I still had a spotty connection. MacStumbler revealed that I
actually had a very weak signal. However, whenever MacStumbler showed I had
a strong signal, I never had a bad connection. Most networking people on
Macs swear by MacStumbler.
