In the case of GameBoy cartridges, they still work in the GameBoy
Advance, which was released in 2001, and will likely be usable in some
form on the new GBA2 and the next generation GameBoy.

The 'console' games, yes. The Atari ST used 3.5" floppies so your out
of luck there ;)

As a totally unrelated note the RISC Processor in the GameBoy Advance
is slower than that in the MP130... Fascinating no?
