my setup: newton 2100 us, lucent wavelan card, tibook with panther,
escale nightly build from 10/27/2003
what i want to do: connect the newton via airport (adhoc network) and
appletalk or rendez-vous to the tibook and sync/install pkgs with
escale.
what i did: install hiroshis drivers, tcp-dock 1.1, read some posts in
the archive about problems that others had with escale ;-) but it
didn't help...
so, maybe i'm just stupid and i hope one of you can help me :-)
connecting via appletalk doesn't work for similar reasons as mentioned
in this post:

as soon as i activate appletalk on the airport net the icon in escale
becomes gray.
if i try to connect via rendezvous the newton doesn't find my mac, but
the appletalk icon in escale becomes black. when i cancel the tcp
connection and reconnect using appletalk, i get a connection but can
only use the keyboard (sync and install don't work)
what am i doing wrong? how (and where) should i configure the newton?
anything i have to pay attention on the mac?
any suggestions appreciated :-)
