Hate elaborations on my own question but.....
I was able to delete the item "Bookmaker.html" using SBM Utilities. But I
very well might have a bad card (Pretec 32) .
Here is why, as I said before, the loading process would stall at the
"Bookmaker.html" package, now that this is gone, in stalls at the
next package in the loading order after that. Does that sound like a bad
sector in the card?
I can start the Newton and hold the stylus in the corner thus not activating
the packages. Can one do a backup on a card with
deactivated packages? Otherwise I guess I'll have to drag them over to
another card one at a time
Any thoughts, words of wisdom or suggestions appreciated, I'm stumped.
