If you want to use it in your pickup truck I would rather recommend to use
an external device.
I have very good experiences with the Garmin GPS mouse (12 channel
receiver).
It is powered from the 12V cigarrette lighter and is fixed with its magnetic
food on the roof.
Do not forget that you need to have some visibility of satellites from your
GPS receiver antenna.
