I have a Newton Messagepad 130 and I'm trying to get it to connect with my
G-3 (blue & white). I bought a Sewell USB to serial adapter and it's not
working. It works fine however on my wife's PC. I'm wondering if it's
because my computer doesn't have an internal modem. I remember reading
somewhere that these adapters use the modem to simulate the serial
connection. I've looked at the stealth serial port by GeeThree.com and they
also require an internal modem to mount there card. Would a Keystone
adapter work without an internal modem?
