Re: [NTLK] Usage for the rest of the money

Hi all,

as most of you know from the previous posts, I suggested that Woody
buys cheap linear memory cards and send them my way so I can start
a lending service. Basically what I am thinking is handling it like
that:

1) Someone tells me his problem and his Newton's locale
2) I ask him to PayPal the cost of the card plus what
shipping costs me to my PayPal account
3) When the money arrives, I send the card off
4) Person resolves the problem and sends the card back
5) Once I have it I refund the price of the card.

Since I haven't heard any objections so far, I would suggest that
Woody puts this suggestion up for being decided between all donators.

Actually, in order to save shipping cost we might even do it another
way. I have one 2 MB card that will definitely run on all 1x0 devices,
and I have two 4 MB cards that will run only on 2x00 and eMate devices.
It would save money and effort if Woody simply sends the money my way
and I henceforth consider NewtonTalk to be the owner of these cards.

If 30 bucks for these 3 cards is too little, consider it my problem.
I am used to this kind of problem since I've always been too good
for this world ;-)

If 30 bucks is far too much, let me know what the current total price
for these 3 cards would be (outside eBay) and I'll simply donate
the difference to NewtonTalk.

Frank
