On Windows, there's a Edit:Toolkit Preferences...:Heaps tab that might
do what the App memory allows.

Do compressed packages stay compressed or do they uncompress to run? And
does NTK compress packages or build uncompressed ones that the Newt
compresses?

Hmm... I tend see ~2x for formatted text versus unformatted.
