The simplest low-down is the following:
Heap is the same as RAM in a desktop and the 2000 has about 150k of it,
with a couple of apps loaded this comes down to 120k.
For most heap-intensive stuff (like internet surfing) inadequate.
The 2100 had 450k free, with a couple of apps loaded this comes down to
320 to 380k. (one tends to load more when you have heap in abundance)

All this heap makes for problem-free use, apart from the bug in the
Newton OS that can't always handle all that heap and starts throwing
-10061 errors at you.
Luckily there are plenty of utilities that counter these errors though,
'Heaven and Hell', SysPatch etc., guess they're in the FAQ but they
don't seem to help with GPS Map.
