1) Power the unit it on which ever way it will turn on.
2) Try changing th ephysical orientation to see if it will power off
or screen will disappear/gets flaky.

contacts. I haven't heard anything from you that would suggest this.
4) If the unit powers off then it could mean a bad power connection somewhere.
This would mean you or someone would need to check the connections.
5) If it turns out it's a problem with orientation and turning on the
unit - well then it would likely be the switch and/or the cable to the
motherboard.

These are just guesses by what you describe as your problem. You may
need to send this to someone like Frank to figure this out if you deem
it needed.
