All fixed, it was that thingy near the batt compartment, looked like it
was soldered on but was just off.

allthough im now left with a very sticky on/off switch and a tiny metal
clip, i have no idea where that was meant to go.

alas its all back to psudo normal now

Franks webpage save hours of proding it with a multimeter. ;o)
