Hello Simon & Group-

Simon, this really is great news! You guys just keep breathing new life
into our dependable little machines with you great software. I just
can't believe that I'm still using a Newton going on 10 years now! And
I've been a fan of SimpleMail since the very beginning too.

Simon I have to ask a favor, if you can help me out. I deleted
SimpleMail and followed the instructions on your website to the letter.
After installing Mail V, and checking several times to make sure my
Owners Card configurations were correct, I'm getting a consistent error
code that always starts with 208 . . . (For example: Unknown Newton
Error code 208246496). I've checked the IMAP settings over and over and
everything seems correct. The outgoing SMTP seems to be fine, because
I'm able to send mail with no problem, I just can't receive it. I
should add that this is not an NIE problem, I have no problem getting
on the Internet. The login chokes when it goes to check my Mac Mail,
thats when the error message pops up.

I have to be in NYC on business on Monday, and I'm really going to need
my Newton while I'm there, so I was hoping that you or someone on the
list could give me a clue on what to check that might be causing this
problem. I should add that I was running the last version of SimpleMail
for years with virtually no problems whatsoever. I'm sure that Mail V
will work even better once I figure out what the problem is.

Thanks Simon, and thanks to too everyone that keeps the Newton going
strong!

All The Best,
-David
