I have been wrestling with this problem for some time now, and have made a little progress, but not solved it:
When I try to sync my newton MP120 using NewtSync and a Keyspan USB PDA adapter on a Ti Power Book running OS 10.2 when I started trying and 10.3 now (I'm aware that iCal won't syncronize in 10.3 I'm considering going back to 10.2). I run into a problem syncronizing names. The last time I tried it I started by deleting all the names in my newton, taking out the flash card and starting the sync. It syncronized 163 of 171 names very slowly then just stoped. I tried to cancel on both the newton and the power book but there was no responce. The newton just locked up. When I tapped I got dots and lines on the screen It wouldn'r recover. I finally had to remove the batery to get it to restart.
I have been given a lot of advice on this - thank you all - and have tried to follow it. The only thing I have not been able to do is set the com port speed to 9600 baud. Is there an updated driver for the keyspan with this setting accesable?
