OK, so I happend to have another USB->DB9 serial adaptor sitting
around... This one made by "BAFO" (which I'm not sure what it stands
for, but it *sounds* rude ;) This uses Prolific's device driver, which
is up to version 1.06 for OSX. So, I figured I might get a different
result with that. But no. NewTen times out, Escale crashes ;)
