Hi Chris,
Well, I'm as newbie as you (less than a week with my eMate) but I
found a great app called NewtSync (search for it at
www.versiontracker.com). You can sync using the serial port or via
ethernet. It's great. Using a few plug-ins, I can also sync my notes
files...
