Marty,

The iMac "Slot-Loading / DV" revision came in 350MHz and 400MHz. The
350MHz had a 6-10GB HD, CD-ROM or DVD, 100MHz bus, shipped with 8.6,
has Rage128 VR on an AGP 2x bus with 8MB of VRAM and no video out. For
peripheral and network connections it had a 56K modem, optional
AirPort, 10/100T, USB (x2) and no FireWire.

The 400MHz model had a 13GB HD, DVD-ROM, Rage128 VR on the same 2x bus
with 8MB of VRAM, also had VGA output for video mirroring, USB ports
and two FireWire ports.

No 350MHz Slot-Loading / DV revision iMacs shipped with FireWire on the
logic board.

However ...

If he has a Summer 2000 350MHz then he has a very different 350 ...
which would have the same video system as the 500, but still would not
have FireWire as the Summer 2000 revision iMac still left FireWire off
the lowest end model. Also, Summer 2000 350MHz iMacs do not have
AirPort card slots.

The Summer 2000 revision also changed the color scheme. The Summer 2000
350MHz iMac was only available in Indigo, prior revisions had been
BlueBerry.
