I was interested enough to go look it up on the archive and thought while I
had it on screen I may as well provide it as a reprise for listers...

And Action Names, but if you already have MoreInfo, stick with that. It's
really the best, in my opinion. I use Action Names, but that's because I
bought it back in the days of NOS 1.x. And just stuck with it... :-)

I wouldn't delete Dateman, simply freeze him. As for Action Names, with ver. 4, you can ostensibley link notes to names, but I've never been able to get it to do it reliably. If you use the Action Names stationery, you can do it, and it will work, but normal stationery has always caused me problems in the Contact History view in Names. BTW, with normal notes, you can simply create todos from the text you wrote. Just add the word "remember" to what you want to do, hilite the text, and tap assist. As far as "linking", simply make sure that your contact's full name is in the note or title of whatever you do, and do a global search. The Global search will search for every instance of that person's name, giving a good overview of your dealings with him. Not only that, but you don't need to open the names file to find your links. I use this a lot, and prefer this method to AN, MoreInfo or Dateman. :-) -- -Jon Glass Krakow, Poland <jonglass_at_usa.net> <glasshaus5_at_aol.com> "Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people.
