I've tried reading back through the lists, and the various FAQs, but
I'm stumped.
I can't seem to connect properly to the internet through my wireless
card.
I've got an MP2100 with a DWL-650.
I've installed NIE 2.0, and Hiroshi's driver.
I've tried using SimpleMail, NewtChat, and nBlog to connect to the
internet.
With each, I get the connect slip, and get a status window showing that
I'm connecting, and get an IP address.
With each, though, as soon as that completes, I get a error message
saying problem connecting.
In SimpleMail, it says, "Problem connecting. Check the currently
selected connection setting and IP address configuration."
In the other two, it says, "An error occured in Connect Endpoint FSM.
Problem connecting. Check the currently selected connection settings
and IP address configuration. Error = -60047"
At one point earlier, I was able to send e-mail to myself (receive
e-mail on the desktop through the same account I was sending from on
the Newton) but not anyone else, and could see my User Info in nBlog,
but couldn't do anything else. Not sure what I might have changed
since then that would stop me from being able to do these things.
In Internet Setup, I'm set to DHCP Server under configuration.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
David
