I did a bit of a search after replying and the init strings I saw for
the Psion Gold Cards looked pretty nasty. My recommendations would be Zoom,
Motorola, Hayes or (as a last resort and only if you get all the software
and manuals with it) Global Village. Some 3Com modems will work; Others
require all sorts of evil software that is made of the best unobtanium, so I
wouldn't recommend them for PBs.
