are there error logs kept anywhere on the newton?
i have been trying to get wireless networking up and running, and i am
close. i get some errors in slips when i try to receive mail or go to
a url, but the slips come and go so quickly that i cannot see what they
are. being able to check a log would help my troubleshooting. in both
cases (email and web), it appears that i am able to be assigned an ip
address from the dhcp server, but then after that i have connection
problems. also, in newt's cape, there is only one line for errors. is
there a way to make this bigger? some of the errors seem to be cut off
so i don't know what went wrong.
also, has anyone successfully installed soybo and been able to access
it via a newton? i finally got it installed properly (after 2 days of
struggling with mysql, php, and apache), and my searches for access via
newton have produced postings of mixed results.
thanks,
