I installed 3comaddon.pkg and it worked. I selected 3C589D for my
card, and not I'm surfing the internet on my Newt. I'm just a bit
confused because on <http://www.chuma.org/newton/ethernet/> where I
d/l'ed the driveds it expressly says that 3c589.pkg supports the 3Com
3CXE589DT. Thanks for the help.
