I am running a P4_at_2Ghz and I tried 4 Slowdown.exe - all that happened was my
machine Slllllllloooooooooowwwwwed down and eventually locked up - So I am
going to drag the old 486 that is in the garage out and try that tomorrow.
All I want to do is load some apps. I have a 4Meg card that I can do my
backups on.
Does the problem have to do with the processor speed or the port speed? Can
I reset the Com port speed to something and then set the same connection
speed in the prefs of the NKC or should I give up while I am a head
But this raises anudder question - Am I going to have simular problems with
the Connection Utility and a Newton 2100 as well ?
Laurie
