You don't have to copy the MP3 files over to your Newt. Another option
is to stream your MP3 collection and use MAD Newt to connect to the
stream.
If you run Mac OS X you can get the Quicktime streaming software free.
Also, there are a lot of mp3 streaming stations on the internet that
you can listen to as well.
Of course, this requires an internet connection from your Newt. But
with a wireless connection and some scripts setup on your streaming
server to change playlists and runnable via the web and there for from
your Newt you can take your mp3 library with you without taking it with
you.
