I've found enough references over the years to MP 3000
compatibility on different aftermarket supplier's
product lists that has gotten me wondering. Did Apple
ever release any preliminary hardware/design specs to
aftermarket suppliers or (twoud' be nice) even go so
far as to make and issue pre-release development units
to some of them?
