How can you tell, Marty, without knowing what a new unit looked like? I
bought my 2100s used, and they seem to be in good condition, but I have no
idea what the backlight potential is. Also, even when the background
lighting is decent ... just enough for reading ... it's difficult to read
the Newton screen with black on green.
Has anyone on-lost actually done the replacement with the white
background/backlight?
