You don't need to use a manual configuration unless you have a server
on your Newton.
I'll bet the DNS settings are wrong. In Internet Setup, try DHCP.
This should solve your problem. To know which DNS servers to use, use
Airport Admin Utility and looks which servers your airport base
station was provided by your ISP.
