Well the ones I have heard of use hydrogen, not lighter fluid. So
basically it is a fuel cell using hydrogen that "burns" and it is not
refillable. However it is expected that these fuel cells may last a day
or two before needing to be replaced and would be much lighter than
todays laptop batteries. Personally though I would still want a
standard battery for normal use. And then have a few fuel cells for
long trips where I could not get to recharge. As long as they last the
cost would add up if you used them exclusively.
