The way to do this would be to map the obsolete currency symbol to the
Euro. Wedging a bitmap of the Euro character into a Newton compatible
font is only half the battle. In order to print correctly, a compatible
PostScript, TrueType, or OpenType face would be required to mesh with the
request to print the associated bitmap face. I know that Paul Guyot was
working on some Mac OS X to Newton font conversion tools, but I'm not
sure about the Euro encoding issues.
