LAG we missed you but know you were there in the 'GREEN' Spirit.

Am still up after meeting with Ronnie and Elizabeth with my wife and I.
We had a nice dinner at a chinese restaurant in Chinatown in NYC
(though rushed out by the restaurant host...hmm he is a bad
reflections on asians), gave them a peek at my MP2100, Custom Sled
w/TriPod and the 22 individual plastic parts of a completely
disassembled MP2000 which will be delivered to Peter when they meet
up. We had a nice conversation of course on various topics but did end
up discussing much about the Newton and the Einstein Project.
Unfortunately Elizabeth did not bring along her Newt and was unable to
share fully how she used it but did convey as much as you can without
your trusty Newt in hand. Ronnie did whip out his Newt encased in a
Satelite Case with Holster and explained how their history together
and how he used it at length. And of course he showed the Overclocking
switch neatly installed on his Newt.
Later on we moved down to Little Italy, 'the annual festival was in
full swing', and we had coffee and dessert while we continued our
coversation. Though a little heavy on the Newt Techno-bable for my
wife she was very accomodating as was Elizabeth as we delved into
PC/Newt related topics for a bit. Hmm, what a wonderful experience -
what will future NewtYorkUserGroup gatherings be like? Well I took a
few pictures as I'm not a shutterbug like Adam is nor am I artistic
with camera or have and eye to take good quality photos, but I did
snap a few and will likely send some off to Grant for Newtons Around
the World.

All in all like others have conveyed before and Ronnie pointed out
this evening - overall Newton owners are a great group of people! I
surely was impressed, and one thing that is on my mind is can I learn
Newton Script? Ronnie was a great personal motivator about the
possibilities of programming. I think I will look into it as one
Newtonian was kind enough to give me NTK 1.0 in shrink wrap and see if
I can carve sometime out to learn it.
