Some of them work, some don't. The ones marked FL16M-20-11138-67 on the
back do work in 2k models.
The above is a 16MB card, and can be identified by the ŒFL16Mı. It will work
in an MP2000/2100, but may mount read-only or simply not mount at all in an
eMate. I donıt think anyoneıs got a 32MB Centennial card to work in a
Newton. It can be identified by the model number starting with ŒFL32Mı

Also remember that while buying linear flash cards, make sure that theyıre
new (preferably still sealed). Most bulk sellers salvage them from discarded
Cisco servers, and sell them on eBay. Since LF cards have a fixed number of
write-eraze cycles, a Cisco server can suck the life out of a LF card in no
time! You could end up with a card thatıs on its last legs.

IMHO, a better alternative would be to go in for a Compact Flash card with a
PCMCIA adapter, and purchase a license for Paul Guyotıs ATA-Support driver.
It works out to almost the same amount (32MB LF card ~ 32MB CF card + PCMCIA
adapter + ATA Support), and you have the added option of upgrading your CF
card for free, not to mention that you will be supporting one of the few
remaining developers on the Newton OS...
